Work Synergistically: Team Work Makes the Dream Work
These are only a few examples, but there are more organizations and partnerships. Although their specific focuses may be a little different than each other, their biggest and final goal is the same, which is to eliminate discrimination against immigrants and to make the world more comfortable to live for all. They all carry and care about the same value of improving equality. Why don’t they work together? According to Covey (2020), working together, in other words, working synergistically, creates more and better outcomes than individual works. He says, “the whole is greater than the sum of parts'' (Covey, 2020, p. 134). Working synergistically includes more perspectives, and that will allow everyone to come up with more creative solutions. They may face some disagreements, but by finding a way for everyone to agree, they can naturally find solutions that help more people more effectively than when only one organization comes up with a solution. The more complicated and difficult the problems are, the more people should be involved to find solutions. Therefore, It may be even better when each organization’s specialties are a little different than each other because then they can broaden their perspectives by learning about each other’s work and find solutions that they wouldn't have been able to find alone.
You and your organizations are very powerful and influential. I am only a student who is hoping for equality, but your organization has an actual power to move people and knows how to do it. I need your help to collaborate with each other and make greater achievements so that all immigrants can live happier.
Do it together. — Together, you can eliminate discrimination against immigrants more effectively and more quickly. Other organizations and coalitions are not opponents, but they are teammates who are working towards the same goal as yours. Please hold hands with each other and make a greater impact on all.
